Has anybody had issues with their Infotainment Centre?

I did an OTA update a few months ago and the screen just crackled and went blank. To cut a very long story short I was told it needed a new 5F control unit, as I have previously said this was nearly 3 months ago - I have just been told that these parts are made in Ukraine!! No Sat-Nav, Radio and worst of all no Air Con in this heat!!!! I have leased this car from Lex Autolease and they said they couldn't open a case because not enough time had passed since I made the complaint! There is no delivery date for this part and I am stuck with a car that is mostly useless! Does anyone have any ideas regarding my situation please?

Not much can stop the war, but an OTA update shouldn't just brick a control unit.

Just remember this ridiculous situation for when you are next choosing a car and AVOID a VW group vehicle. That's what I'm doing. The resale values will likely tank as Alfa's did with their issues in the past. VW will get a rep for "dodgy software" in the same way French cars still have a rep for dodgy electrics, or Fiats have a dodgy rep for rust.

The next generation of the VW software is so bad, it's delayed Audi's new EV (codename Artemis) by 3 years (yes, 3 years)

In case the buttons are still responsive you could try a hard reset of the infotainment.

Press and hold the On/Off button in the bottom left of the screen for 5-10 seconds. If it works the screen will flsah and display the Cupra logo after some time.

I’m currently in the same situation and 10 weeks into the wait with no end in sight 😩. I’ve got a hire car at the expense of vw but starting to get impatient. Half considering binning it off and moving to a 135i but I do love the formentor

I am in the same boat as you guys, Car originally went wrong 12th May after the OTA update, been into the Dealers, had loan cars. Car back with me now still no resolution in sight, case logged with Sear / Cupra but they just update me each week with the same info, the part is still on backorder....

Car goes info its first service today, "Fault warning and report" That will be long 6 faults at least, Check for software and enhancements updates, check air-conditioning operation, lets see how they get on with those without the infotainment working.
