Hardwiring a dashcam

Hi guys,

I've recently got a Leon Cupra R and have got my Blackvue dashcam which I removed from my previous car. I want to install this and hardwire it so it is permanently on (I already have the blackview box which will cut power once the battery voltage drops below a certain value so I'm not worried about my battery going flat.

Is there a guide or a how to anywhere as to how I should do the install?

And where did you take the live from ?

Hi mate,

I've managed to hardwire my dash cam in. I purchased a couple of fuse taps and managed to get a live and a switched live feed from the fuse box to power the Blackview Power Magic Pro which in turn powers my dashcam.

If you need specific fuses, let me know and I'll get the info/pic of my fusebox for you.

Anyone's else installed a dascam on mk1. I wounder what fuses did you used from panel? I need a permanent live and a switched live from fuses.
