hard gears

Forgot to mention when I test drove the cupra tdi, I found the 4rd gear hard to get in and sometimes fourth.

Seeing as when the owner drove it, it was spot on, I blamed it on the fact ive been driving an auto recently as well as the need to get used to the alignment on the 6-speed box

Was also thinking of chaning the gearbox oil just as precaution

Hi, im not sure how many people have had this problem, cant say i have, but iv heard that seats and VW's can have a problem with the 6-speed box where by 4th can go a bit funny, look it up on good or something? dave.

sorted it.

The linkage pivot for the cross movement was kind of seized. took it apart, cleaned it and re-greased it and it perfect
