I dont really know much about what is good or bad but i had a good read on here about what people use. It seems people have more cash to spend than i have:( Maybe a bit more overtime is needed? I did see a set of Jamex sportlines for about £300 but again dont know anything about them?

You get what you pay for at the end of the day. If you not really in to it and your not sure abotu how there goingt o change you car. best go cheap. You only need to spend the big bucks if you have it or if you know what ur doing and you really want that much controle over the suspention setup.

Yeah, know what you mean but still i dont want to buy a load of junk. But money is a bit of an issue? Cheap isnt always bad! and for what i do with my car i really dont need to spent LOADS. Its mainly for a better look and better handling which i think any set would be better than what i have now? Well i better keep saving for now.

ive that problem to had the standard 16" 205/55/16 and now ive put the 18" on there 215/40/18 and the handling is weird so ive changed them to to the wheels before and the handling feels much better ie points the car in the way i want it to go. but i think if i have a 40mm drop it shoul do the trick.

You need to get a a full geometry check if your going from 16"s to 18"s and lowering it. Other wise you will munch through tyres!!

So you think geometry check will sort the problem? My car is having a dog bone bush fitted in a few days so i could get the check done at the same time? By the way did the track rod ends help?

Track rod ends are what joins the steering rack to the hubs. My mate broke one of mine so i had to get new onces.

I have asked a few poeple and they say that tyres always feel like this for the first 500-800 miles.

Seemed to be loverly now i got it lowered. Having said that somthink has gone wrong with my car as it all gone to jelly and its handling VERY strange. i turn and it feels like the back is moving out and then front is stay still!!!
