Strange that you would ask for opinions, then get in a huff when you get them. It's your car, enjoy it they way you like it, dont be sulking off because not everyone agrees.

Bear in mind its personal preference on colour - if you like 8000k then keep them, but make sure they are aligned correctly.

Personally, I had a 6000k pair, and when I switched cars, but a 4300k/5000k pair instead. Much prefered the colour - they were much closer to pure white, rather than tinged blue on the 6000k. Up to you though.

It is personal preference but when you start getting above 6000k you're likely to start attracting more attention from coppers for the blue tint to the light...

I got stopped in Newcastle last week for a number plate bulb being out and fuzz asked me what temp Hids i have installed..told him 6000k and he just bought a set of 6000k for his vectra. Like lee says if they're set up correctly they won't dazzle and you'll have no bother with them :)

I have the 6000k in my cupra R haven't had any problems with them! I love hem, really pleased I brought them! I had the same in my vectra for nearly 4 years. So many work friends commented on the fact that they were bright but didn't dazzle. If set up correctly I can't see the problem x
