Bizza Boy would not cancel his post which stated my figures, anyway i have posted pics again and it turned out not to be what can only be described as an unbreakable part....the stud axle.....there is to many parts that will bend / break before the stud axle on an Ibiza.

I bought the wheel hub (£69.95 + vat) which contained the wheel bearing i managed to damaged and the stud axle (£52.95 + vat).

I fitted them myself (RashCupra said a novice could do it and it was very easy 30mins tops). Once fitted the knocking noise stopped (new bearing) but the wheel was still bent so it now seems to be a whole rear axle which Seat Img warrington will supply for £323 inc Vat (thought it would be more expensive.)

anyway i will post an update when i get it fitted this weekend....they reckon 4-5 hours to fit it?

Oh and for future reference shop around for fitting parts

Kia Bolton services to fit the Hub and Stud axle = £103

Wheel quick Wigan = £ 80

Seat IMG warrington £235 :blink:

Myself = £0 :)

rear axle isnt that hard either if you have a ramp it will take about 2-3hours tops! good to see people getting stuck in on mechanical!
