If it means I got 2 discs for the price of 1, I know I'd go and collect :p
The TT discs will fit the mk4 cupra, right?

Edit- yes they must do. Silly question.

I've never found ATE power discs on their website.... I definately sourced some for my LC a few years back at a very good price from them too.... Let me know how you get on!

First look on ATE web site and find the correct numbers for suitable Powerdics, then get ECP to order them in - they will do if you press them as they are the sole UK importer of ATE branded brake parts. I got them easily first time, about 6 years ago for my B5 Passat, a couple of years ago I went to replace them and they said "ATE do not make them now - just buy what we sell - ie EBC - same price" - I said that I'd get back to them. Contacted ATE and they said "what a load of rubbish - here is the email of ECP's buyer" - so I told him to get a set up to my branch sharpish - and he did!

Oh, and I still use VAG approved Pagid front pads and yes there is a slight noise under heavy braking, but pad wear is not much worse than with plain discs.

Originally ECP were going to supply me with Powerdiscs transfered from another branch - but they only had the one, which seems a strange little story as ATE sell them boxed as an "axle set" - ie two discs.

From the ATE site:

Brake Disc: Power Disc
Trade Numbers: 525123
Article Number: 24.0325-0123.1
Fitting Position: Front Axle
To MY: 10/2008
Ø: 312 mm, Br. Disc Thickness: 25,0 mm, Min. thickness: 23 mm, Brake Disc Type: Vented, Finish: High-carbon, Surface: Coated, Num. of holes: 5

So if I give them the "trade number" or Article number they should be able to order them in?

Oh well, seems that you have now got the answer to your question - excellant!

That sounds like serious money though, as I said before, the ATE Powerdisc kits are normally 2 discs - is that what you found on the ATE website?

By the way, these numbers that you quoted should appear on the side or top of the box.

I've now looked up the ATE site and for these numbers that you got, the "quantity in pack" is 2 ie a pair, I'd ask ECP again to clarify things as you asking for that item is in fact you asking for a set of wheel discs - it would be a pity if they tried to charge you for two - how many people buy just one disc? Come to think of that, the Seat dealer in Liverpool changed both discs of the car my daughter ended up buying - and fitted one correct disc and one previous model's disc - hummm!

Right I've now got a moral dillema. . . had a phone call off ECP Stoke saying "the discs you picked up yesterday, I made a mistake and I should have charged you £63 each NOT for the pair....... is there any chance you could come in and pay for the other one please ?"
now when I went in on tuesday to order the discs i asked the price and was told £63 . So I asked wether the £63 was for 1 disc or the pair, the bloke said "a pair" I said "are you sure ?" so he went into the back and asked another member of staff and came back and said "no it'd for the pair"
So am I correct in thinking I've done nothing wrong and it's their fault they got it wrong and I shouldn't have to pay for their mistake ?

Without draging out my old bills I'd reckon that that price is roughly what I paid for the pair I got for the Passat not that long ago, I can't see myself spending that on one ATE Powerdisc when the Brembos are about that price for the grooved ones.

Legally they sold you the pair for £63 and thats the binding contract. there is no way at all they can make you pay for the other disc
