Okay, Success.
Not sure if earlier grills have the side hooks, but for me secret was to not to lift the bottom out first.
1. Remove the pins as described
2. Pull top Left Quadrant of grill towards you until the hook pops out. (quite a lot of pull required)
3. Pull top Right Quadrant in same way for same result.
4. Grill should then pull out far enough at the top to reach down the gap between grill and bodywork to release the clips at the bottom
5. rotate the grill about the bottom line against the bumber to unhook the bottom 2 clips.
Fit in reverse, with sharp wack with hand to push top clips back in (make sure they are aligned with holes first)
