grill attach to the bumper

im just about to order a new grill and dont have time at the mo to take the bumper off and was wondering how the outer grill bit attaches to the bumper is it just clip or something thanks in advance

It's not plastic welded. It's clipped in.

Melted tabs. need to cut them down to get it off and have funs trying to put the new one back on!!

so do you mean its plastic clips that have melted dew to heat from engin? anyone know how much a new 1 is?

No they've been melted to stop the clips coming out from the slots from the factory. It'll make sense when you look at it. Think they're in the region of £50 from dealer? You broken yours i take it?

How easy to fit it back on a new bumper then?

Just a pain in the ass to get all the tabs back in the slots, as some are long and get bent behind where it sits. Again this will make sense while doing it! Jus gota check it's all pushed home properly.

oh rite cool thanks for all your help people iv just ordered a new 1 from the seat it was £45 plus vat do you know if it comes with a cupra badge or does the old one pop off the grill
