Green panel filter

Is there a way of getting to the green panel filter in the oem box without removing the strut brace....On the TDi its such a pain as you have the coil box there and last time I undo the bolts on the top mount for the strut brace I damaged one of them...last thing I want is a new mount and also when you think you have to clean the filter every 6 months Any suggestion?

Might help if you say which car? If it's the Mk4 Ibiza in your sig then just loosen the bolts on the passenger side strut rather than taking them out.

sorry its an ibiza like in the sig. Would it not damage the strut if I start flexing it?
