Green Cotton vs. K&N

Have noticed there seems to be a bias towards green cotton induction kits/filters over K&N on SCN. Looking at kits for my mk3 tdi, are they more popular for a reason? never heard of Green cotton before I joined SCN.

I've used both and prefer the green panel filter. I used a K&N on a Passat i owned and it was the downfall of 2 MAF sensors. Ran a green filter on my Ibiza Tdi with no problems to report.

As i say, that's the one i ran on my 2000 Tdi Ibiza and was impressed. I do still have the filter in the garage if you're interested? obviously cleaned and re-oiled.

Go oon then how much you after? !!! Only want if it its vgc really or i'l just get a new one...

Hi Alix, yeah VGC. I've run it for approximately 14,000 miles and cleaned it twice. I've also got about 1/3 rd bottle of cleaner and almost a full can oil of oil which you can have. £16 delivered if you're interested??
