grams/per/sec = bhp ???

is it true that you can get a rough idea of what power you have by the grams per sec of air you are using

i am sure i had heard this was true

divide g/s by somewhere between 0.75 and 0.8 to get hp. 0.77 is a good compromise

just checked mine with a reading i recently got ( 200g/s) when i thought my maf was on its way out and i have around 259bhp

when the car was running right @ ( 220g/s) by that conversion i had 285bhp which is about right

Multipy g/s by 1.31

So I have more bhp when my fuel tank is low and my screen wash is empty.
