I take it that it sounds pretty awesome too then? Gonna be removing the Sub and amp outta mine soon. Next mod will be cover the boot of my car in plastic and fit a dog gaurd
lol, ive had a slight change of plans aswell... you know I said I had a problem with impulse buying....
well.......... i think the leon might be taking a backseat again for a while.. lol
I'l update my thread with more details tommorow lol
nice vids.
The one with car sounds, how sped up is that?
Cars coming along nicely now mate. You still considering the remap?
Cheers It's only double speed, main reason was I had nearly 2 hours of video, and cut it down to my favourite 15 - 20 mins or so, but obviously can only upload 10mins worth to youtube!
But it accidently turned out really well, and makes car sound pretty sporty for a diesel
I know exactly what I'm doing with remap, gonna get it done at P-Torque... just saving up the pennies for it now hopefully getting it done around Easter time is the plan, but obviously depends on funds! Can't wait for the extra power though
Nice one, I'll be following that then... Contemplating it for mine... Ours would more or less turn out the same... So you are my test tube baby for now
Ben
Ha, cheers!
Couple reasons I'm going with P-Torque, because they give rolling road before & after remap which would be interesting to see, and most importantly I had a chat with Will as I was concerned about excess smoke coming out of exhaust after the map (as I really didn't fancy that) and he said that they can guarantee there'll be no more smoke which is good
Before the map considering a de-cat too, not a full mufflerectomy as don't fancy that loud tractor sound, but can't afford a full Milltek system or similar. Hopefully that'll free up a few horses
Rather than just Decating. Why not buy a Miltek DP which isnt very expensive that will decat for you anyway and join onto existing system with a reducer. This way you free up more horses and its a good upgrade.Ha, cheers!

I was thinking of a mufflrectomy...
After seeing some vids of others, the sound it makes when you lift off is awesome... a real growl. Mmmm....
Not too sure how much longer I'll have the car though... really want an FR+ TDi 150... I think it's a summer of saving for me....
Will @ P-Torque is a great bloke and his remaps have got a very good reputation on this forum! You will not be dissappointed....

Great videos mate! The scenery round there is stunning!
Remap will be good, mufflerectomy dosnt make it sound like a tractor lol
Mine just purr's lol
Sounds less diesely too me
As said, Miltek downpipe is a worthwhile investment, decat and larger bore, so it gets rid of heat quicker
Hope your alright anyway
mine is just straight pipe mate all the way through.
Awesome sell the miltek downpipe for "our" engines mate. About £120 iirc..
yeah, its big bore and decat in one
Wow. It's gone up in price, but it may be just the VAT increase...
Failing that, you could just get the cat chopped out
He does seem to get very good feedback here. And he answered my questions really well too really good price aswell - £260 I think he said including full diagnostics & rolling road before and after!
