Up to now, I've always just used a clay bar after cleaning the motor, to start with, then followed it up with the Meguiars 3 stage detailing polishes every few months to try and keep the paint in good condition.

Thing is, the stuff I've got is all running a bit low now so I thought I'd see if anyone could recommend something better than the Meguiars for me to buy and use going forward...???

I don't want to spend £££'s as it's only for personal use, but I do want something worth while! Also, I'm looking to buy a polisher too, so any recommendations in that area too would be cool!

Thanks... :)

i bought a das 6 polisher last year with loads of pads, 2x 1 litre Menzerna polishes different cutting, and one smaller polish heavy cutting, and came with a bag, bought it for £160, best thing ive bought tbh great for removing swirls, buts also good for removing any scrathes that appear! got it from clean your car

Cool, cheers! I've just been on their website and it makes for interesting reading - their products sound very good! Might take a look on Ebay then and get some stuff ordered!

You tried any of their other stuff, or just the wax?

Yeah, I've read about those DAS polishers before. They sound good, but I don't really wana spend £160 on one! Any other suggestions???
