I did have a B4 Passat TD as a daily, I moved that on when this come up.

Belonging to a fellow VW tech he had bought it as a bit of a i'll treated animal. All sorts of things bodged over the years. Spent a long time fixing all the niggles, rebuilding the gearbox, renewing various bits of wiring, repairing CDL and fitting an alarm. Its done a genuine 80k lots of history and it fairly tidy given its 20 years old. Since I got it its been treated to some H+R coil overs (with Bilstein dampers) 15" Azev A's to replace the tractor like 16" Valbrems (up for sale if anyone wants them, good tyres) and a few odds and sods. Its got a Jetex induction kit and downpipe back Sebring exhaust so sounds pretty meaty, the KR engine still pulling strong.

Just in the process of rebuilding a spare front subframe so i can swap it over. Its been shot blasted, wishbones stich welded along the seams, Powerflex bushes and powder coated. Should tighten things up. Not bad for a daily, damn good fun as well around MK.

Thats the thing, i'm not supposed to be doing it up as i've got the 20VT to do that to. Can't help thinking of ABF's though for the Oaky..lol.

do it! my mate had an abf'd mk2. was farkin mental! even on what I now know to be standard cams and management it made over 170bhp (storm developments fiddled with it) and in a well sorted mk2 chassis it went very well:funk: from my mates point of view it was much more fun to drive than the 20vt mk2 golf he'd just gotten rid of!
