golf gti wheels

Hi just got my 05 seat ibiza cupra. Its great love it to bits but i want 18s on it. i was thinkin about the mk5 diamond cut 18'' golf gti wheel. I am unsure becuse i dont want to cover up to much of the cool calipers and vented disks i have got. What would u recomend please post pics if u have them? Also what is the best place to get my car re-maped and what dump valve do i want ?

arent 18's on an ibiza pretty dodgy because of rubbing?

id go for (and will be in a couple of weeks) the forge recirculating valve designed for the 1.8t. ive heard of problems with normal type dump valves so be cautious.

OH the car looks lovely, is it cany white or yellow, its hard to tell in the pic?

For remap and dump valve its poss best to do a search, remap there are loads of companies...Revo, Custom Code, Jabba are the main ones that crop up!

Originals also won't fit as the stud spacing's different on the new Golfs, so you'll need to have replicas.

Its onvi yellow just i have a crapy camera. Wer will i get one of these dump valves and how much will it be ?

not sure if ibizas like 18"s most people on here have no bigger than 17"s dont think they do the handling much good.
id go for a nice set of 5 spokes think they look good on the ibiza im thinking of a set of oz 5 star"s very plain but i like em

the 18inch gti wheels have been photoshopped on here before i think and they looked funny imo

id leave the wheels standard maybe a diffrent colour get your car these modsin this order

1.green pannel filter
2.forge recirculating valve (or if noice is wanted the split r forge valve)
3.miltek sports cat and down pipe (which i have for sale vertually new)
4.cat back miltek (oval or twin)
5.Custom-Code remap
6.coilovers and spacers
7.strut brace

if it is a 180 then your talking 230bhp

also 18's will make the car look like its on stilts!

Personally I'd get it stopping and going round corners before applying more power, but the choice is yours.

stopping isnt a problem on the cupra as the seat sport (ap) 4pot callipers do a wickid job feels like your face is falling off when breaking hard
