Right my future plans are gradually falling into place and i was going to get a new car but have decided that when my current turbo goes i will have saved up enough money to go for a bigger turbo.

However out of my current mods what could handle the power of the big turbo and what would need replacing, i know my FMIC is rated at 500bhp as someone has had it at nearly that in a golf.

Also what other options are out there other than IHI and Garrett i think 350-400bhp is more than enough for me and what other mods would i be looking at to handle this power and more imortantly get the power down.

And am i also guessing that to make a perfect setup i would need about 8k

definately rods, possible pistons (depending on what size pins are in yours), advised valves. Usual other BT hardware being exhaust manifold, turbo DP, sundry oil & water lines, intake pipe, injectors etc

possible mitsi hybrid turbo or garrett hybrid turbo for those figures. (its asking a lot from an IHI)

I would personally suggest investing in your suspension setup too, to help get the power down better and to be able to make full use of it.
