gmax suspension

Hi There

Cant believe g-max is that bad, whats an alternative complete suspension set up for the 1.4 MK3 Ibiza thats not too expensive??? and where can obtain a kit.

Any help would be great!!

Nobody buys something which is cheap and expects it to be as goo in all respects as something which costs more. If you want bargain basement then there are uspension kits out there that will fit that niche: Raceland, Apex, Jamex, Gmax. Plenty other off the shelf kits tho eg Bilstein, Koni, H&R, KW which for obvious reasons cost that bit more.

whats a good kit and i know u get what u pay for, do what do u suggest as a good kit for lowering a MK3 Ibiza 1.4 'Chill' model and what sort of price can i expect to pay???

Gmax suspension problem???

hi there
i have recently installed a full gmax suspension kit on my car, the kit would lower my car by 40mm, and i had the kit fitted, it only lowered by around 25-30mm, but the people who installed said that it would lower another 20-25mm after the kit settles in??? is this correct? did they just not install it properly, as my brother had a different kit installed on his car and it dropped the full 40mm as soon as they were fitted?
has anyone had the same issues as me?
any help would be greatly appreciated

it does take about a month to settle, to get its correct ride height. i know that i started this thread years ago, but now i have a cupra with good coilovers installed.
listen to what everyone is saying, and go for a better quality kit. it was nothing but trouble on my old car.

a friend of mine had gmax on his old car an the back hardly dropped an the front was on its arse!

are eibach any good ive heard there spring kits are ment to be really good?

yeah! i've heard they are quite good

the gmax kit on my old car did drop it alot, and it handled quite nicely. but squeaked loads, and just seemed to be terrible!
