The engine warning light on my Seat Leon FR 2.0 diesel (5F1) 2015 came so I plugged in my OBD11 and it showed the fault code "PO67300 cylinder 3 glow plug circuit".

I removed the glow plug and the part number is VW-AG 059963319J manufactured by BERU.

I read online that cylinder 3 glow plug has a pressure sensor, but after seeing the (lower) price for this part number I am not sure if the glow plug I removed does have a pressure sensor ?

Is there a way to confirm this from part number or pictures below ?

I assume cylinder 3 is the 3rd cylinder from the left as you are looking at the engine from the front of the car ? i.e. cylinder number 1 is on the driver side and cylinder 4 is on the passenger side.

Will this glow plug from Euro Car Parts be suitable....

As seen below, there are two glow plug items for model year 2015 1.6 & 2.0 diesel engines, according to the parts catalog, one with a pressure sensor and the other without.

It is not clear from the data provided by the catalog but it seems that there may be 3 of them are without sensors and 1 one of them is with the sensor in the engine. If you can send your VIN to me via a private message, I could get the exact information from the catalog.

I've messaged you my VIN

From what I've read, if a glow plug does have a pressure sensor it is only fitted to one cylinder (no. 3 from what I've read). The remaining 3 glow plugs don't have pressure sensors.

I assume the cylinders are numbered as I have shown on the diagram below ?

I don't have any information about the cylinder order, sorry.
The parts catalog shows only glow plugs without sensor for your car.
As you can see below, the ones with the sensor are grayed out.
That usually means that the car in question does not have that part, though there are some occasions that the parts catalog ends up incorrect.

Thanks again sedar for looking into this for me.

Its confusing because the part 059 963 319 AB says "Glow plug Contains: Pressure sensor" ???

I wonder what would happen if a glow plug without the pressure sensor was fitted, if its supposed to have one with a pressure sensor ?

I would have thought it would raise a fault code ?

I also wonder how the pressure sensor sends the measurement to the control unit ? I assume the glow plug just has 2 electrical connections, I've read its driven using PWM (pulse width modulation).

So how is the pressure measurement sent to the control unit if there are only 2 electrical connections ?

Unless there are more than 2 electrical connections on the connector ?

Can the pressure measurement be read on OBD11 as live data ?

Looks like the glow plug with a pressure sensor has an additional 3 wires for the sensor (Q12/G679). So the connector to that glow plug should be different to the other 3 connectors...
