I have finally got the bridge connector fitted, i did the splice didnt have time to take out the battery box etc. I reset the light and thought i was done. Until the next morning started the car and on the light came again??? this is the vag com 3 Faults Found:

17056 - Cylinder 2 Glow Plug Circuit (Q11): Electrical Fault
P0672 - 35-00 - -
17057 - Cylinder 3 Glow Plug Circuit (Q12): Electrical Fault
P0673 - 35-00 - -
17058 - Cylinder 4 Glow Plug Circuit (Q13): Electrical Fault
P0674 - 35-00 - -

Now the reason i changed the bridge was it was cracked and clearly damaged so i presumed it was the fault. What else could it be ? would the plugs be at fault?

some may say lala land....
you don't need to remove the airbox etc.
you can, assuming you have the 4wire with plug, just remove harness and undo plug and reverse with new.
will leave cable trailing but at least you could clear errors and see what it does.

and 2nd above, if not done plugs i would do all four for peace of mind and for future, i know which have been done.
