Anyone know the fuse size for head lights dipped? And if I was to change it or for hid flickering reasons would it cause any harm??

Thanks

It should state the required fuse in the back of your owners manual sue.

Regards changing the fuse so long as you use the correct amp rating it shouldn't cause any issues.

If a vehicle’s headlights are running on a 10 or 15 amp fuse, the amount of power delivered to HID lights may be insufficient to prevent them from flickering. Replacing the fuse with a 20-amp version will reduce the resistance and increase the amount of power supplied to the headlights without overloading the wiring.

Cheers

I'm sure they're 20 amp anyway but it's highly unlikely that the fuse is the cause.
there's 1000s of cheap shitty kits with naff bulbs and ballasts or ones that are not compatible with can bus systems, especially those using duty cycle.

As MJ has stated regards the kits quality. But I'm guessing you've got the can-bus kit that was linked to you in another thread a while back and not a cheap knock off?

The headlamp fuses are 30A per side. Each fuse supplies all the lights in the headlamp on the side of the car it is designated for (side light, low beam and high beam). They are in the fuse box under the bonnet on the right next to the battery. Fuses F16 (right headlamp) and F26 (left headlamp). The F16 fuse is physically smaller than F26 fuse but it makes no difference as they are both green 30A fuses.

There was a recall for replacing the fuses on certain cars made around 2010. A slightly different type was fitted, same amperage but more robust, apparently.

These as already said are 30 amp green fuses and are located at the top left of the engine bay fuse box.

Just for completeness, this is a picture showing the location of the headlight fuses circled in red. The smaller top left one (F16) is for the right-hand headlight and the larger middle right one (F26) is for the left-hand headlight...

All those 30 amp fuses with black lettering are the later type. If your vehicle has those fitted then you should have no issues.
