Funny Climate display

Something I've noticed with the climate display in the dash. Every time I turn on the ignition the display flashes as if doing some sort of self test. then after a few seconds it seems to come on as normal. Now I know there's no gas in the aircon as a hose is split ( should be fixed on Saturday for me ) but is the display doing this normal?

I believe mate from what ive read on this site, although I could be wrong, that the flashing display means that your air con needs re-gassing. Which is about right considering you have no gas in the system!!

Ah cool I had a feeling it might be so that sounds good. Should be fixed on Saturday then

mine does this two? but mine has climate control not air con?? does that mean mine needs re gasing

Mines climate too. I'll let you know if it stops after it's been regassed and the split hose replaced on Saturday
