Fuel issue or co-incidence?

I've posted this in the Leon Mk1 forum, but wondered if here might be better.

I drive a LCT Mk1 with Forge DV

It could be just coincidence, but after discovering a Tesco near me selling 99RON fuel, I went for a fill up. A few miles later my car is barely running. rough idle @ 500rpm, very intermittent throttle response, but when it did respond, it pulled like a rocket. Eventually the emision light came on.

Next fill up I went to my usual 97RON and within a few miles most problems were ironed out including the emision light going out.

Thinking the Tesco stuff was crap I tried some Shell V-power and within 70 miles I was stuck with the roughest car ever again!

I've run my own VAGCOM and come up with this :-

16514 P0130 O2 Sensor Circ.,Bank1-Sensor1 Malfunction
17536 P1128 Long Term Fuel Trim mult.,Bank1 System too Lean
17705 P1297 Connection turbocharger - throttle valve pressure hose
17763 P1355 Cyl. 1, ignition circuit Open Circuit
17766 P1358 Cyl. 2, ignition circuit Open Circuit
17956 P1548 Boost Pressure Contr.Valve Open

Now 17763 and 17766 are due to me removing the connector from the coils.
I've got a six month old Forge DV and the N75 is newer still. Surely the DV doesn't need servicing so soon? Also my Lambda sensor is three months old. The codes are all new as I had them re-set about a month ago.

My car has alway been a bit of a bitch, but surely it should run ok if not better than ok on 99RON? Or is there something I'm missing??

it was raining both times. The current tank full of 97RON isn't doing too well to be honest. I'm having to run the car. I won't be damaging it at all will I?

I have only had 'bad' fuel once, and was convinced it was something else.

new tank of fuel, and about £30 of unleaded wasted later I was happy again

it just so happened it must have had some water in as it was seriously wet for days before I fille dup

well, I'll run this one through and possibly get some moisture removing additive from Halfords, so long as this doesn't do any damage!

It does run like s**t though until it decides to go and then its as fast as it ever was.

I'm really stuck!

I'd keep topping it up rather than draining it out. Fuel will rise above any moisture, so it won't take long
