Fuel gauge not recognizing refill

My 2015 Leon ST 1.8 FR did not recognize when I filled up the tank. The fuel gauge remained in the same position as it was before refill. Then it slowly started to rise to the max in a period of about 20-30km.

Since refuel -statistics on the MFD have also not been reset at all so the kilometeres are just cumulating despite going for a refill.

I looked at the fuel level sensors throuh VCDS and only sensor 1 gives a decent ohm-value and calculated volume. Sensors 2-4 give only 65535 ohms with calculated fuel quantity 0 L.

Does my car actually have more than one sensor and what could cause this? It's clear that the car gets the data that the tank is full but the refill just does not get recognized.

I've a 2016 FR and twice when I went to refuel in the last couple of years my fuel gauge did not register the refill. In my case it didn't gradually start to climb back up to max though.
What fixed it for me was a battery disconnect for 20 odd minutes.
