Yep be prepared for a ball ache took me and my mate to undo the bolts. Both usings bars for leverage aswell

the allen key hole is just ever so slightly bigger than a 7mm allen key

Oh that sure got me and my mate angry . A 7mm is too small so it would just round it off (Ey Ben ) , 8mm is way too big. Even the imperial Allan keys don't fit . We ended up taking an 8mm Allan key, and grinded it down to the right size, but was still rubbish. Then........... we remembered that my mate has a compressor powered impact wrench. #Woot# #Woot#, everything was undone so quickly, no Allan key was needed.

So the moral of the story is . . . Get and Impact wrench and an air compressor. . . Or find a mate who has one

now THAT sounds like a plan, In FACT it IS the plan.. mucka of mine is a self employed mechanic so , Ive been to see him today, he's told me to drop the car off in the mornin'... he'll sort it AND even take it back up to (his mate) at the MOT centre I went to and get it sorted then I go to work, come home, pick my car up and Bob as they say is your Mums brother
(weathers supposed to be a bit crap over the next few days too, so last thing I will wanna do is fekk about in the rain after being out working in it all day)

that top mount bolt is the reason i couldnt get my cupra lowered on the coilovers!!

got the bottom bolts off no bother, bit of WD40 etc..
topmount bolt, between me and my dad could not move the f!!cker it was absolutely solid...mig fancy a trip to glasgow?

Yeah why not, but its not me who has the impact wrench and compressor, its my mate you want really. But you don't want him coming because he is very fat . Saying that, he almost sacrificed his thumb for my car, when we were angle grinding the driveshaft balancing weight off.

Well I just checked the map.................and you'd have to give me a LOT of beer, because its a 16hour 900mile round trip. That's about £120 worth of beer, which in turn works out at about 240 bottles of beer. Which would mean a lot of this followed by this and some more of this and would end about 3 days later with a lot of this
