Well a bit of a strange one the other day after jumping in the car from cold I noticed when I got to about 2500 rpm there was a squeal noise like a boost leak then a hesitation around 2500 rpm. Well since then the turbo dosent seem to pull like it did almost seems like you have a bit of turbo lag.
The turbo still sounds normal but I still have the hesitation at 2500 rpm like fuel and boost don't match up. Could this be turbo control? Anyone had similar problems? Oh it's an 07 plate with 22500 miles. Thanks Kev

I could well be the diverter valve, just seems quite early down the rev range though. Would be handy to plug in vag-com to eliminate any other issues though, although the diverter valve may not throw up an error code.

Yeah it just seems very laggy low down but does not pull as hard through the whole rev range. You can hear the turbo spinning up and it continues through revs but it just doesnt seem to go the same. Strange one I might just have to take it to the dealer still in warranty but how will they diagnose it if no code is stored? Thanks for your help again Kev
