shop around to get a remap you can get a good one for less than revo i.e celtic tuning, bell auto, torquingbhp.co.uk all for a lot less than revo.

about £350
then i would get better suspension prob another £400 and a strut brace.

1000 sounds alot but it seems tuning is expensive :(

I would get a remap, cupra intake, and coilovers and strut brace with £1000
because it will be fast and handle well,

then when your brake pads wear out upgrade, tyres when worn upgrade etc etc

after that if you want more (which i doubt) (as become expensive)

Hybrid £1000
FMIC £600
Custom remap £500
Bigger brakes TT £350

but start with remap and suspension and you'll be more than happy i'm sure

Be hard pushed to get a decent set of coilovers, a remap and other little bits for 1k!

Alot of these other remaps arent switchable, so if you need it to be switchable (mostly for warrenty issues) then these other tuners might not be best.

best advice, do a search! good advice indeed!

£500 for Fhk highsports
£350 remap
(if you live in east anglia) i do, many tuners i mentioned if you live close will take off and reinstall remap in advent of a warrenty work revo is still on yur ecu i believe when you use the stick,

150 to install the coilovers

£1000 pounds :) is how i would spend anyway.

get other as and when you have a bit of spare cash i. e strut brace 50 qiud cupra intake a few quid green filter 35 quid just bits at a time.

what part of east anglia mate?

very true about revo you can only switch it on and off you can remove it yourself,
and the guy who done my revo'd 1.4 didn't really want to know after i'd paid.
To be honest over the next couple of months i'm working nights so i've got an extra £400 a month disposable income so i should be able to get all the stuff i need,
i did notice actually that tourquing bhp is in cambridge and is only an hour down the road, they're looking favourites at the mo depending on the quote they give
cheer guys

to give an idea of cost im running the following:

Forge FMIC - was £600 when i got mine..fitting - free (thamks stoney and grant for the extra hands)
Cupra intake - £35
Green panel filter - £40
TT brakes with Zimmermann discs - £250...fitting £30
FK Silverline X height and damper adj. coilovers - £600...fitting - £60
Milltek downpipe and sports cat - £270
Powerflow backbox and 2 1/2" piping plus d/p fitting - £150
Custom remap - £180 :p
Forge strut brace -£45
Cupra ARB and cupra bushes £65approx...fitting £50

Thats just the go faster stuff!!

add to that the numerous ICE installs, full retrim, door cards, dynamat, bodywork, different sets of wheels, and then the next lot of smoothing. My Ibiza stands me at a complete fortune!! lol

Having said this, i enjoy my modifying - i dont smoke, or drink...much. Probably due to my modification spending!! lol Having said this, i dont have any loans etc or credit bills on it so its all cool and the gang!!

Personally i would get a panel filter, cupra intake, remap, brakes and exhaust done if you only want to spend about £1000, there is about another £10,000 you could spend on engine mods alone like a hybrid turbo, propane injection,FMIC, 2.1 stroker kit, re profiled cam, ported head etc. Click on the link below to give you some ideas of engine mods and prices.

When people want to know about what they can do and who to go to when it comes to tuning diesels do you any other company that has such a range of mods and the experience of tuning diesels then ?

I would like to know , why a FMIC before a remap?
Even after?
For that amount of money when the guy has 1k to spend , why?
Remap , 160pd intake Air Filter exhaust and brakes.
If he wants better handling , springs and shocks.
Coilovers if he does not mind the harsh ride , but FMIC....is it worth it if remap is the only main engine mod?

Personally, I'd make sure the car stops and goes round corners first before going for any power mods, but that's just me.
