Anyone any ideas if the above will be an option ? on the petrol and diesel versions and will it include paddles ?

Im looking at getting a new car to replace my cupra diesel next year and an FR DSG would be the one to go for if available

It's an option for the 2. And yes it includes the paddles. But for we, in belgium, we don't have the DSG for the TDI before the end of 2006.

Yep, I have also been told that it will be November for the DSG to become available in the FR. They quote: "we will be launching a DSG gearbox in the Leon FR from week build 45 (early November 2006)".

At the same time I enquired with the SEAT Customer Service Centre as to whether the Cupra will have DSG. The reply was: "I am pleased to advise that the SEAT Leon Cupra will be launched with a 2.0 ltr TFSI 240bhp engine, with a manual 6 speed gearbox. We currently have no plans to launch a DSG gearbox in the model."

But I reckon, rom other comments on this forum, give it say March / April 2007 and you might be able to get the Cupra with DSG.

Lastly, for those that like the (AERO) body kit, apparently this is being developed for the FR and should be approved and available by the end of September.

Here's the FR with DSG. It will be only an option for the TFSI for now ( dont you love VW politics ? ). BTW whats an AERO body kit? The current Seat Sport body kit fits the FR already.

Yeah thats the one. Here in the Netherlands a FR was fitted with the Seat Sport body kit. So technically it fits. Maybe there are some legislation issues.
