FR and cupra engines

Excuse the stupidity here but i was wondering if there is any difference in the 2 engines? I've been looking for stuff like induction kits for the cupra but dont know if the stuff for the FR will fit the cupra.

Is one a deisel and the other a petol, although there is a cupra tdi in ibiza form, stand to be corrected though.

ok! just putting together the few things i have read/learned, but not neccesarily in the correct order!

FR comes in diesel and petrol. cupra petrol only. Lots of threads with differences on here. But basically as Tam said.

Most thing will fit the Cupra if it fits the FR. such as induction kits.

I wa right in one way anyhow. I thought cupra and fr engines were completly different!? You learn some everyday!

Different: turbo, head, strengthened pistons/rods, bigger injectors(maybe).
