i fitted a forge dv to my k1 and it came with 2 springs, when i went up the road it had lost about 100hp the car was gutless and engine management came on,so i fitted the other spring and the power increased but still felt a little flat.the next day i bought and fitted the evoms induction kit only to find that now when i accelerate i can here turbo chatter before i shut off, has anyone else had a problem because atm im thinking that the dv is leaking on acceletation hence loss of power, only other mods are a amd remap and help would be apreciated

i doubt it mate , it will be a whole assy.
how did you come to the fact that you lost about 100 bhp? or you just saying its slugish?

if i were you i would check your conections again perhaps use soapy water to see if you have a leak some where?.

well with the yellow spring it probably makes about 0.5 bar boost as when it gets to 2700rpm u here it dumping the pressure,im just gona go check through the lot again and hopefully find the problem

well i would say if your car was running fine on the standard valve and you have had problems since changing to the forge version then it shouldnt take you too long to find the problem.
did the yellow spring come with it? or did you buy it seperatly?.

both springs came with it,its doing my head in now,if the solonoid was faulty would the valve open easy or would it stay shut and not recirc?
