Ok, so went out bright and early this morning to start this job
wrestled the engine cover off no bother (although it didnt like going back on).

My question is, how the hell do you break/get off the standard VW nightmare clips already on the d/v. I have 2 new jubilee's for the larger outputs from the d/v itself, do i also need something smaller to secure the vac line on the top of the unit.

Ive read Pabs' guide on doing this but doesnt say anything about either of these two things. Id like to get it done today, but i dont want to bugger it up cos cant afford for the car to be off the road.

Also what does the service for the 007p consist of, cant find the guide anywhere, Pabs your link to it doesnt work mate.

Many thanks

I just fitted one today.

As said above i used pliers and flat ended screwdriver to wrestle the vw clips off.

I used a 12-15mm jubilie clip for the vacuum hose and a 22mm jubilie clip for the bottom hose and kept the original clip that was on the left hose.

clips cost me 70p.
