Will it work as it's listed for a golf but the picture shows an ibiza plus it's well cheap.

that's not actually a pic of that kit - given that it's bills car

look at the cooler itself - it's different!

One major difference that will mean it's not going to fit your car is that the inlet is on the wrong side for the ibiza

Yeah i've been told dis. I just thought for the same amount i'd get a forge one!!!! But i aint dat lucky!!!!

May go down the laguna route, every1 i've spoken to says it works just aswell as the forge but some people just do not think it looks as good. But i'm gonna have mesh over it any way and any FMIC is gonna look good!!!! IMO.

Looks quality mate. sits perfectly central!! That was the only thing that i was put off by, i thought they were mounted to one side.

I think i read that some one on here would supply and fit for around £300. Which would be great as i'm a spastic when it comes to playing with spanners!!!!

Have you sprayed the edges up so it looks more central>

yaeh just sprayed driver side end tank and a very small part of the passenger side to make it look central. It even turned out better than iwas hoping

they do as already said he has sprayed the sides black so it looks abit better, its more the level that i dont like, i know its only very slight, but to me it might as well be 45 degrees diagnal as id know its not 100%

its the best compromise though, you wont get better unless you spend the extra £300 on top to get the forge unit

theres never been any sufficient proof so people cant comment

someone asks for proof and they post a single log of temps and nowt else or compare against logs from different days, different temps, different cars, different types of runs

the forge has been proven to do what its supposed to do time after time, the handful of owners with laguna set ups say their happy...fair enough. a particular few have gone about slating the forge kit on price and performance

at the end of the day..looks are about 50% as important as performance for me, other people may see it less or more

Thats the first time i've heard negatives about the Laguna FMIC, unless ur talking about the looks!!!! Which doesn't bother me Cos a FMIC is better than a SMIC!!!!!!

looks are important to me aswell because a wanted to keep my car looking standard. To me the forge one looks out of place on the ibiza and would look better on a jap car. Too shiney and square for me.
my laguna one has kept my car as close to standard looking as i could get it and also my intake temps stay very low so for me its a good job.

there nothing wrong with your intercooler u turd!!!! its just your fitting!!!!

to be honest i was the first to fit the laguna intercooler ran it with a ko3 then upgraded to a o3s in my veiw the intercooler worked fine and looked good (sprayed the cupra logo across one side) it all depends whos fitted it!!!!!
BUT in my opinion the forge does look better and u you cant really go wrong with fitting it as its a kit made for the car!!! it all comes down to wat you wanner spend at the end of the day my front mount cost me nothing in the end! after i sold a few intercoolers to some of you guys it basicly paid for my pipework!

currently selling my lotus elise and goin back to the ibiza side!! plans are stage 3 ihi and ill be goin for the best kit for the ibiza due to the fact ill have the money to spend!but as for ko3/o3s upgrades the laguna cooler in is more than good enuf for the job!
