Update

Got my gauges fitted about a year ago which im happy with but boost gauge hits 2bar if i floor it so need one that goes abit higher.

Me mate did a service on it last weekend and also got another splitter because the snow ripped the old one off last winter.

Took it to blackcircles (Elsham garage) for a full set of tyres which im very happy with and was only there 45mins. A went for kumho esta KU39 because after looking on here and on other websites a found they got good reviews and was £302 for tyres, balanced and fitted.

Going to be refurbishing wheels again soon because they've got a few kurb marks, again from last winter and sorting out a few stone chips. Just tidy it up really.

Read the full thread mate, really like what you've done with the car, the small touches really make the difference IMO. Anymore handling/Power upgrades planned?

do you recon the coilovers is a worth while mod? as I'm not too bothered about the stance right now and not sure if the wife would be happy if the ride gets any firmer.

any idea how much the cupra alloys go for as well as i have the full set including a brand new spare and do you need a certain amount of posts before you can list stuff for sale?

thanks, Barry

Will Octavia VRS alloys fit over the AP calipers on the front of a Cupra? The Cupra are bowed to make clearance for the calipers....

on Aimez's mk4 Tdi FR Ibiza thread shes had them on her mk4.

plus people have said they fit on the thread, MK4 Ibiza - What Alloy Wheels Fit Archive!

i take it from what people have said on here they will clear the callipers fine as there
17x7 ET38 with 205/40/17.

so hopefully!

if you have a cupra with the seatport 4 pot calipers they will not fit its the 4 pot calipers that make you unable to fit the vrs wheels thats if you own a cupra.

I had them on my Ibiza too - but both Aimez and I had the 312mm TT brake setup. The SEAT Sport calipers and much bulkier on the Cupra. They will be a direct fit, as both as 5x100 thread pattern, but I'm sure there wont be enough caliper clearance without pretty decent spacers....

well I'm sure you both know more about it than me.
its totally standard seat ibiza cupra tdi 160

well if they don't fit thanks for letting me know now before i spent out on them tomorrow.
gutted they won't fit, constantly scared of curbing the cupra alloys all the time haha

The main reason why i got the coilovers was for the big drop and improved handling. If your not fussed about the stance then leave it for now and maybe spend half the money on a remap ;-) best mod! Also iv noticed me mates dont mind about the ride but the misses and mum (infact every woman thats been in the car) has moaned about the ride, so ya wife would probably kill ya lol

As for the wheels, a think they have taken the 'for sale section' off here because of people complaining. You could set up a thread and say iv got some cupra alloys that im selling on ebay if anyones interested

mabie the next thing will be the exhaust then as i have a jabbasport map on it when i brought it.
did you go for the full decat non res and large bore down pipe? as thats what i was thinking and i want a sporty sound without looking like a ****. Not sure where to go for it, is it worth the full miltek setup I've seen for about £560?
