Hello all,

iv been on the forum for quite a while now so thought i would post a reader ride thread. So, i got my cupra just over 6 weeks ago and im more than happy with the car. this is now my 3rd car since i passed my test just under 4 years ago, and not surprisingly its my 3rd seat ibiza. i got a ibiza mk2 1.4 first and loved it, then i got a ibiza mk4 1.4 DAB but after only a year and a half sold it to get my new cupra.

i didn't have the car long before i started the mods :D, first i got:
AP coilovers
Seat sport front strut brace
C2 aerial
Cupra tax disc holder
Cupra seat covers (stops getting stuff on me seats from work)
Cupra keyring
20mm rear spacers

The previous own had already re-mapped the car to 205bhp and 300lb/ft of torque, which was done by BAS in york. Also he had fitted a full sachs organic uprated clutch from JBS auto designs.

as for the future mods, theres quite a few :p
colour coded wing mirrors, doors strips and repainted callipers
front splitter
whiteline ARB
Aerial booster
front brake pads (not sure which sort)
AUDI TT Drilled grooved brake discs front and rear
Bulb upgrade (possibily HID's)
Car mats
wheels refurbished
Green panel air filter
Smoothed air box
K1 gear knob
3" bore downpipe to a 3" bore straight through pipe

here's a few pictures of the car:

a go very slow over speed bumps and pot holes if a can. i get a little bit of rubbing on full lock and the splitters scraps on the pavement when i reverse out of me drive due to the slope but apart from that its fine

hi, aint bin on me readers ride thread for quite a while so thought i'd update it

first of all, after having the new number plates on about two weeks, a got pulled by the old bill but after trying to persuade them to let me off they hit me with a £60 fine :censored: so of it came.

iv had the side strips colour coded, which looks 100% better and iv orderd a new pair of wing mirror covers from good old sere motors today (£15 primed) too so as soon as me mates sprayed them they will be on. iv got new headlight bulbs too from halfords after the ebay ones i bought went pop. £25 for one but with buy one get one free i can't complain and there really good and alot brighter.

also today i got my wheel alignment done at bush tyres and after two hours waiting, the car was on the ramps (just, there was about 1/4" from the ramp to my front splitter ) and im glad i got it done, the left hand side was quite abit out and it was only £25 ;)

today also saw the arrival of my new wind defeltors and a new bottle of millers sport 4. when i get some pictures taken i will post them up

thanks for looking :)
