Flat spot at 4200 - 4300

Hi all, Justa aquick question for yea, recent got the biza RR'd and got 128 BHP outta her in 5th gear, but looking back at the chart the RR also gave a top speed of 106MHP , so took to a private road to see that there seems to be a flat spot in 5th at 105 - 106 mph, which dropping back to fourth solves by simply 4-5 mph go to 5th and she'll pull on again like no tomorrow, I got the car chipped by star performance so was expecting a bit more HP is it possible to run a dyno test in 4th? (excuse my ignorance) jus the RR hasn't done her justice!

surely you run the dyno and get the graph from 1st to 5th no?

Yours being the 2.0 8v? Mine was ran in fourth at awesome.

yeah 8v, and what did your run, was expecting max speed of bout 130?? not 105,

Mine got 125bhp and im sure it did 114mph in fourth. Does that sound rite?
