Actally had my first small blip yesterday, went to change up after coming round the apex of the round about and it was as if it could not quite keep up with what I wanted it to it just hesitated by a second or so and then surged when it sorted its self out.

I find that there isn't a time where I'm using just Manual or Just D/S. Manual only ever comes into play for me when I'm knocking up into a higher gear if I think the engine is revving too much and hasn't changed yet or if I'm getting ready to overtake.

For quick driving on B roads or anywhere else I love S mode. I've got it worked out pretty well and I love the way it keeps the rev's in the top half of the range - There is definitely a lot more poke at the high end and if I'm showing off the car to any passengers I just chuck it into S, slowly bring it up to 4/5k rpm and then plant my foot..... I've got no Remaps done yet but even with everything standard there is a nice kick back - Not rip your face off kick, but a nice surge that makes any of my passengers wish they had one :funk:

Gotta say having the DSG has made me lazy ! Round town i just tend leave it in D and only use the paddles when its a bit late changing up, usually up hills after a pull away. On the other hand when im out for a blast its paddles all the way !! Dont like S mode, it hangs in the gears too long at around 7500 rpm and that cant be good for the motor or the acceleration !!

if it wasnt good it wouldnt do it.......... the last DSG update was around the S mode changing quicker when it is left in 5-6K for a bit.
