I've just been lookin at some wheelspacers on the following website:

http://www.performancedriven.co.uk/shop.product.asp?CatID=120

It says the spacers bolt to the hub then you use your original bolts to bolt the wheel to the spacer. Seems like a good idea and saves having to purchase longer bolts and lockers.

Anyone used them??

I am right in thinking that eibach ones don't bolt to the hub and the longer bolts go through the spacer and bolt up to the hub??

hope I've explained that ok

You would be right with the eibach ones, yes they have longer wheel bolts.

I personally am not a fan of the way the FK ones work, as you only get 15mm worth of thread (if the spacers are 15mm) on the spacers.

yeah sounds good idea on larger spacers but for the width you'll require i'd stick with eibach ones, speaking of which can bill get them now as he was having supply problems not long ago

I can understand what your saying about only having 15mm of thread but that should be enough surely?? They would be a lot easier to deal with than the non fixed ones when changing wheels etc.

CupraT what size (bolt to the hub) spacers did you have and did you get any problems with vibration or anything??

cheers for the comments, keep em coming

I've had both 20mm and 25mm bolt to hub spacers. Get quality H&R parts and you'll have no problems what so ever. Like you say, much easier changing the rims when the spacer is fixed to the hub.

Spacers arrived on monday, no probs with them at all. They even supply you with longer bolts in both radius and tapered fitment.

Just need to either raise the rear coilovers a bit or get to work on the rear arches as i'm getting a bit of scrubage :(
