I had it re-mapped about 6 months ago without the exhaust and it ran 276 bhp and 302 ft-lb torque, since then i have added a jabba sport induction kit and the blueflame exhaust and thats when i got the latest figure. So the increase is about 15 ish with induction kit and exhaust.

292bhp without a FMIC aswell?

Glad you enjoy the blueflame:)

Do you have the samco/forge TIP in there aswell as the standard TIP tends to collapse under heavy load?

If you watch the video on forge's site as to what happens to the standard TIP under load then i would say yes.

It collapses in on itself and obviously then causes a restriction to the turbo.

Try a search for it on here, if not have a look on forge's website.

West tuning did another LCR a few months ago and only managed to get 260 - 265bhp, but before i had my BF it was runing 276 bhp. Ray was very suprised how much he managed to get. I will have to come to a RR day and see what i get there.

That’s mad to see how much it collapsed. With regards to bhp I can only go by the print out I have and to trust west tuning. Surely every car is different?

Jabba sport say that with a custom remap you can get 256-275 and thats without an exhaust ot FMIC.

Trust me mate our cars with the full mods list will not pull more than a genuine 285bhp.

Its not the fact where you add say 10 on for an induction kit, 10 on for an exhaust and 10 on for a FMIC to end up with that magic 300 (remap 270)

It doesn't work like that, turbo runs out of puff and cannot provide the airflow to reach these numbers.

Your car is different from mine, but your turbo is not. It is your turbo that is the restriction meaning that is the over riding factor when it comes to max bhp.

Are you trying to say that with a FMIC/TIP you would then see a further increase from your 292bhp?

Go to another rolling road, preferrably on a RR day and compare it with other cars. Your 292bhp will probably be 275bhp on say JBS's rolling road.
The fact that it doesn't have a FMIC/TIP makes the 292bhp reading even more wild:rolleyes:

But hey if you believe its 292bhp at the spec its in, then that's all that matters, as long as your happy with the way its running then its all good:)

It run fantastic and the power delivery is very smooth but i will take it to a RR day and see what it gets then, would be interesting to see what the difference is. The odd thing is before it was remapped it was running 225 bhp (figure taken from rolling road) if you are saying it shouldn't be running 291 bhp why would the start figure be correct ie what seat say it should be and the end figure incorrect:confused:

Rolling road operator manipulating results to keep customer happy.

It happens all the time. (Was it a coincidence that the car achieved 225bhp as standard)

You'll only be left dissapointed if you truelly believe its running 292 and then when the next RR day comes along you only achieve a result of 270-275bhp

You'll then think there is something wrong with your car, chase a fault around that doesn't exist and be dissapointed because you've not achieved the same 292 figure.

All because an operator has fettled with the result to keep you happy, or the rolling road itself is innacurate.

Like i have said before with a FULL mods list your car would be pushing 285bhp max. Your turbo is exactly the same as every other LCR turbo, you've not got a special one;)

Answer me this, add a FMIC/TIP to your setup and what do you then expect the car to achieve?

But hey dont take my word for it, believe what you want, as long as it says 292 on your reading, then that's all that matters:)

Did you try the 6th gear low revs thing James?

Any joy sourcing an uprated clutch yet?
