how much power do you want then??????
personally i wouldnt bother, you just want to be polishing exhaust ports and sanding inlet and making a knife edge of the v in the intake, set of decent valves, springs and lifters, cams , rods, pistons and that will be enough.

Am pretty sure people have done it on their TTs, I was planning on fitting a large port head to my APX 1.8T engine, but decided not to in the end as I am selling up and moving on.

No indications that there would be any problems. If you are getting a larger port head then you need the larger intake manifold to get the most out of it, will also help lower the spool up time with a big turbo (so I was told!).

you can flow a small port to have more flow than a large port, obviously flow a LP and you will have even more

Really? Have you seen the difference between the two.

Anyway, proper port and polish is going to cost waaayy more than a large port head, I think.

The big turbo boys, the ones who have actually done this, have posted loads of info on this in the past.

Loads of info on the vortex, also.
