Right i'm after some new seats as i think the fr ones are **** and not comphy enough for me at 6'5! I've found some i like only problem is they are on mk4 sub frames.. How hard would it be to get them into my ibiza?

Would i need to buy another set of ibiza subframes take mine out and fit them in? Or.. I'm guessing it aint easy as no one has done it...

It's going to be tricky as they don't run subframes as such, the seat base is a complete unit

Do them yourself/ go n talk to a metal fabricator, show him the problem and it'll be doable.

I had mk4 golf Recaro front nd rear in my Polo 6N2 GTi.

Fronts, cut off the front section of the subframe and welded on the front section of a polo subframe, trial and error and went in perfectly, rears, a lot of trial and error cutting foam and swapping metal frames about, perfect.

The Ibiza should be easy, not had them out myself but pretty sure the subframes are flat?
Cut the centre section of the golf subframe off, and cut down the rear arms, you'll then have triangulated points, 2 rear corners, 1 centre. Get a metal square mocked up, and with a bit of playing you'll get them on..
