i bought a strut brace for my ibiza about 2 months ago, and its still sitting in the garage! when i seen it needed drilling, i thought it would be best left to the pros!

What coach bolts?

Its an easy job, all you do is place the brace on, use a drill bit that fits the holes nicely, and spot where the hols got then use a smaller drill bit to suit the self tapers supplied.

You could use M6 nut & bolts instead wigh would be a better fixing but is a right PITA do to with the suspension struts in situe.

Note: in first pic, i had to extend the boonet switch cable, and rotate the metal bit 180 degrees to let the strut fit better
