Any tips guys?? took a look at the old motor the other night and the cable which spools around the motor cog came uncoiled which resulted in the glass dropping into the door, thankfully it didnt break.

I've ordered a new motor but it wont arrive until monday now so I need to recoil the cable and refix the motor so the window is fully closed, any tips to make this easier as it seems like a right pain.

cheers

yea wedge it with wood or a screw driver down the seal!! mine went not long ago, they come as a complete unit with runners n thats so they arnt hard to fit!!! just make sure u get the glass sitting in the holders properly or they will snap off!! and once again ** window will flop.

didnt realise they came as a complete unit with the runners. I just gave the seat parts guy the part number off the motor and ordered that.

Managed to get the window and motor bak in place now so just waiting for the motor to come in stock
