Ditch the Dynatwist in favour of the Jetex, much better filter and looks sooo much better. I run one myself on the Skyline so know how good they are. Had a Dynatwist on my Cupra when i and it aswel an it was just crap, ditched it for a Custom Blitz Sonic which was much much better

nowt wrong with an XL dynatwist.. and they will flow more without the cover, but you will be sucking in hot air.. make sure you try to duct some cooler air to help it out on the go

agreed, i have a cold air feed up the wing to give it that extra help getting the cold air, but it definately feels like its getting much more air through it, pulls so much harder, i think the heat shield was restricting far too much, especially for my hybrid.

its all good now and feels even quicker than before :)

the XL filter itself is pretty huge so that in itself is not restricting anything.. 80mm inlet pipework, and space between filter and housing on higher flows seems a factor.
