hi there :)

First of all wanna say thanks :worship: to Badger5 for supplying me the filter with excellent service and price. Will be using ur service again soon hopefully [B)] :)

Anyway I put it in after a few problems, the instructions were in German lol but I didnt need them anyway.

I havent got a massive growling engine and infact the car sounds pretty much the same but the plus sides are.........

1: i have more space in teh engine bay
2: I can hear my rec Bailey Dump valve more
3:and abit more responsive

What id like to know is how come that yellow cupra on the review section for the 'hurricane' had so much beefy sound whilst my New Dynatwist hasnt (not bothered that much about that anyway but just wondered)

The growly yellow ibiza running the smaller Hurricane was chipped... more boost more growl and DV sound. - my Ibiza when it was just chipped.

Lurking in the background
Hi guys, realise this is in the Ibiza section, but I fitted the ynatwist to my leon at the weekend.
Got more of growl now and the forge does sound more pronounced.
However from low revs and with the radio off I can easily hear the air being sucked into the filter from behind the glovebox and my wife thinks the car sounds like the exhaust is rattling !

Just wanted to check, is this normal?

Just wanna say thanz again for the product and service badger..
My Beeza is Chipped too but not much growl I have the original airfeed directed to the inlet of the airfilter which I assume is the narrower end.

But at least i can hear my dump more.

You should pull out the OE small airfeed piipe.. its only held in by a foam fitment in the inner wing.. a tug and a wiggle and it pops out. Larger flexi to cold air feed can then be used.

Fitted mine last week to replace the induction kit that was already on. Its quieter then the induction kit but at least its probably not sucking up as much crap and hot air as it was before.

I know I have just bumped an old thread but I have just recently removed the heat shielding round the green dynatwist filter hoping to suck more air. Seanyk who is also on the forums has a jetex open cone filter and he seems to be getting more perofrmance than myself even thou we have pretty much exactly the same modz. We were both wondering that the little kink in the Cold air intake pipe might have affected the airflow. Now I have the CAI directed to the open filter.

I will let you know the results.

looking forward to it! I have the same Filter also with heatshield ON. Let me know if it improves with it off :D (doubt it as got force air feed anyway)
