there seems to be quite alot of 'get out' clauses. i'd be sceptical of this being much help in most of the cases here on the forum so far.
Q1. Will RattleBuster find rattles outside my car? * No, it only works inside a car. RattleBuster finds interior car rattles.
Q2. Will RattleBuster find rattles under my car? * No, it only works inside a car. RattleBuster finds interior car rattles.
Q3. Will it find every rattle or vibration? * RattleBuster will
help you locate many interior rattles and buzzes dependant upon their cause. * The product is an effective automotive- aid for anyone (Trade or public) that is looking for an annoying rattle, vibration or dashboard buzz inside a vehicle. Think of it in the same way that you might use a Multimeter to diagnose an electrical fault within a vehicle. Both tools are effective automotive aids but are not necessarily a guaranteed 100% fix.
During the early development of the product we carried out extensive testing on over 40 different types of vehicle. We were able to induce and pin-point the cause of annoying rattles and vibrations in virtually all the vehicles that we tested.
Q4. Can I use the product whilst driving? * This is definitely not recommended - as it defeats the road safety objective of the product. The product is designed to safely find annoying rattles and vibrations whilst your vehicle is stationary.
Q5. Where should I use the product? * Find a safe place to park up your vehicle. If you have a parking space outside your house away from the road, this is ideal. You need to be able to move freely around the vehicle in order to trace the source of the rattle or vibration, so do not park on a highway when using the product.
Q6. Is the product available in Tape format? * No
Q7. My CD player is quite old and some of my speakers are blown, will the product still work? * RattleBuster requires your CD player and vehicles speaker system to be in perfect working order to allow successful location of interior rattles.
Q8. If I buy the rattlebuster product and turn the volume up to max and damage my speakers, will you pay for the cost of replacement?
At no time should the user turn up the volume to the max setting as this is very likely to damage your vehicles speakers (regardless of which CD you have playing) and more importantly, "it could seriously damage your hearing"
You must start each tone on the minimum volume setting and slowly increase the volume as required in order to increase the amount of vibration delivered by your vehicles sound system. We also suggest that - The secret to using the product efficiently is to use the minimum amount of amplification required to induce the rattle or vibration that you are looking to pin-point.
It is virtually impossible to pin-point a rattle if the tones are turned up very loud (all you will hear are the tones you are playing).
* As a rough
guide, we suggest that you should never exceed 40-50% volume on your CD player using this CD product and that in most cases, 25-30% volume should be sufficient to show up any rattles or vibrations.
Please note: "RattleBuster will not make a 10 year old banger feel and drive like a new car"
