Finally taken the plunge - mk3 FR on order

After lots of careful thinking about whether I wanted a new vs used car and if I could accept the hit on depreciation on a new car I finally bit the bullet and ordered!

Used quotes from online brokers and "real" dealers to push the price down. Not as much reduction as I'd aimed for, but I can reassure myself it's a real bricks and mortar dealer.

Some of the online prices were coming from unknown entities, which made me nervous.

Still got better deal than other dealers offered through carwow, so not too bad.

Anyhow - now it's the long wait until mid-late September for delivery.

Basically getting the same car on Monday. They luckily had one in the spec I wanted in Spain so haven't had to wait long. Was a bit of a rushed decision for me and thought the auto lights etc were standard, like on 3 of my previous 4 cars I've had, so silly me has missed out on the convenience pack!

I've managed with manually switching headlights up to now - I'm sure I'll cope without auto switching!

Too used to it now I'm gonna have weeks of people flashing me to remind me at night! What the F is he flashing at?!?...ohh
