Your gonna get loads more oil on the MAF from the oil breather system than you'll ever get from a k+n filter. Dont worry about it.


With regards to the green nipple. Done bother doing it, you cut it and once it done you cant put it back. T-piece into the vacuum line on the underside of the inlet manifold on the left for the best reading.

i have no maf problems with a k&n filter. As long as it's not over oily it will be fine

I had a k&n filter on mine that came with it, nothing went wrong with it but i decided to go back to standard airbox with green panel just to be safe.

Cheers gavthelad, i was thinkin about a set like yours but i noticed there's a guy in perth has them on his silver cupra so i don't wanna be the guy who copies people u know! plus these ones comin up so cheap didn't hurt the decision makin process any!!
