I've been trying to sort out an order for a Leon FR TDi for the past few weeks but wasnt able to go with the options i wanted as the company scheme didnt stretch far enough.

Well luckily there has been a discount arranged with Seat and this meant i could get what i wanted.

So, Sunday evening i raised the order.

I've gone for Nayara Blue paint, Media Pack and Convenience Pack. 17" wheels and the other standard options.

One of the standard option listed was the FR seats in black and grey. The only picture i can find of them in full cloth trim is black. Anyone got any ideas on this ?

I think that with black and grey they refer to this:

In the pictures may look good, I did not like it when I saw it personally, It seemed that it was going to be a bit£% to keep it clean... specially if you have little kids as I do....

I'm pretty sure thats the silver and black alcantara trim which is a cost option. The one i have chosen is a no cost black and grey trim... ah well... i'll wait and see.

17" wheels ...?? Really? ... Why would you?

Originally i was going to go for the 18's but to be honest, i dont like them and they would be a pain to clean.

The standard 17's on the latest FR are actually really nice and suit the shape of the car.

Top picture are the 18's, bottom is the 17's

They might not be to everyones taste but if we all liked the same thing the world would be a pretty dull place. Also, if i had the 18's i couldnt get one of the other options which were more important to me.

Must admit I initially thought 'why' but I have to agree the 17's look much better than the 18's (IMO)

Without wanting to start the colour debate again - love the colour :)

Enjoy

Cheers

I've always liked to try and go with a colour that complimented the car but strayed away from the norm.

I originally went for the Luna Grey but saw the Nayara Blue in the stealers and thought it looked very subtle but some how gave the car a really classy look. I've not actually seen one on the road in that colour yet either.

Thanks to all for the comments on the wheels as well. The only other option from the 2 above is the 18" Orion wheels in black and i dont think they would sit well with that blue.

Budget permitting i would have gone for lumina orange and the black wheels and then the 2 packs i wanted :D

I used to think the same about the 18s.... I didn't like them. Until I saw them personally.... Photos don't make any justice....

Besides that... All the FRs here come with the 18s

Thats a lovely spec Steve and i wish i had the budget through my company car scheme to go for something similar.

Still, i'm going to be more than happy with what i have coming.

I dont have a delivery date yet but the current car doesnt go back until the 14th January so i'll have to wait till then anyway.

Nice choice Steve.
Saw an Orange Fr with black Orions on the road the other day and looked well smart.
