Hi guys n girls,

Just been making a square box to fit in the spare wheel well!

The box fits in but, theres gaps in the side! just wondering what would be best to fill in the gaps?! some sort of foam? want it to sit pretty firmly without movement?!

Cant wait till the install is finished! :D

Why not line the wheel well with some polythene, then fill the gaps with expanding foam filler ?

Lining the well with polythene *should* mean it will come out again. Might be worth checking the foam doesn't attack the polythene first though....

...you could also buy big blocks of Foam / (white) Polystyrene.

Then just use a craft knife to cut it into the right curved shape, and probably then slot Two pieces on each side of your "Box" in the wheel well, for a snug tight fit.

You can buy this sort of stuff at B&Q, Markets etc.
