few questions

Hi Guys,

Just found this site and wanted to say hello and say what a great site it is!
I have just bought a 2001 Leon Cupra and i am sure i like it more and more everytime i drive it!

Although the car already looks a bit sporty i would like to do a few bits to make the exterior look nicer. Firstly i would like to colour code all of the black plastic trim. Has anyone done this on a Mk1 Silver cupra and if so how much did it cost? I also would like to get some new wheels but think that the cupra r wheels are slightly out of my price range any suggestions on any others?

welcome.
im pretty sure they do a copy of the cupra r wheels, i think they are around £400. if i was you i would go aftermarket on the wheels. also you say u have a silver cupra, look for a nice set of black wheels
as for looks, id colour code the side strip and get yourself the cupra r front and back bumpers.

moldings will be a bit of a pain to paint as there textured, the proper colour coded ones are smooth.

You can leave them on car and smooth and paint them but its a bit of a bodge job IMO
